This exhibit will run until January 17th, 2011 and contains over a hundred photographs, work proofs, and contact sheets maintained throughout the sixty years of Richard Avedon's career.  Avedon was an extraordinary photographer and worked frequently with major fashion magazines such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. The exhibit will have an extensive focus on his work from the 1950s and '60s, during which iconic fashion figures including Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Twiggy posed for him.

August 28th
Scissor Sisters & DJ Joe Bermudez, House of Blues (15 Lansdowne Street, Boston, 888.693.2583)

The question is always this: do you want a band or DJ? Thankfully, the age-old question will be put to rest for an evening.  The House of Blues will host two acts in one night & it all starts at 6pm with a Scissor Sisters concert.  Then at 10pm Joe Bermudez spins for his spot on DJ Times America's Best DJ Tour.
