We all have a lot more in common than we think. Small acts of kindness go a long way. The next time you want to tell someone something nice, don't hold back. Go out on a limb and reach out to another. Instead of thinking to yourself, "Wouldn't it be nice if I did that?" just go ahead and do it. Follow through with a simple gesture of generosity: complament a co-worker, hold the door for a stranger, smile at a passer-by. Helping those in need can mean a quick pick-me-up for someone having a rough day or giving well deserved praise to a person who's just doing their job. Truly, there is no act of kindness too small and it's always greatly appreciated by the one who recieves it. 3.17.2014
