Random Deep Thought: "Seize Everything"

The other day I had a thought: what does it really mean to seize the day? We all know that life is fleeting, & time goes by without us being able to truly hold on to each moment. What to do with those moments is entirely up to you. Living life to the fullest means not filling each second up with something others define as amazing but, rather, doing exactly what you want to do with that time. Do what you desire, right when you want to do it. Shut out all the noise telling you what you're supposed to do with your time. Forget about when "the right time" is to do something. Never limit yourself. Take it all. A few weeks ago I heard a story
about a relative of mine in her early forties, never married, but always wanted children & decided to try IVF. I remember her always having an unlucky hand with dating, but shortly after starting the treatments she met an amazing guy. Then she found out she was pregnant with twins. "Have you heard of the movie The Back-up Plan? That's literally my life." Carpe Omnis. Take it all.
Life is strange like that. There are two girls I know of who graduated the same year in highschool: one recently got engaged, the other just found out she has leukemia. Things happen unexpectedly & no one really knows what's in store for the future. But right now we can make the best of our time. It's your life, be greedy. Sieze everything. Carpe Omnis.
